India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given Embraer type certification for its ultra-large Lineage 1000 executive jet. Currently nine Lineage 1000 jets are in operation worldwide.
With a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles (8,334 km), the Lineage 1000 can fly from Mumbai in India to Beijing or Dubai non-stop.
The Embraer Lineage 1000 is a variant of the Embraer 190 regional jet airliner, launched as a private jet modification of the basic aircraft on May 2, 2006. It is advertised as an “ultra-large” business jet with seating for 19.
