Dniproavia ERJ-145 UR-DNK slides off taxiway

On April 28th, 2011, Dniproavia ERJ-145 (MSN 145039) UR-DNK. skidded off a taxiway at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport at approximately 4:30 PM local time.

The aircraft’s landing gear buckled and the aircraft was disabled on the edge of the taxiway. Early information indicates there may have been a brake failure on the aircraft.

The site Avianews has a report in Russian here with images of the aircraft sitting on its belly.

The aircraft appeared to be repairable and no injuries to crew or passengers was reported.

The aircraft in question, UR-DNK, has been operated by several airlines:

  • Originally delivered to British Airways operated by BA Citiexpress
  • Operated by BA Connect
  • Sold to FlyBE
  • Sold to Dniproavia
  • 39th ERJ-145 off the assembly line
