Bombardier has signed an order agreement with Korean Air, which was announced at the Paris Air Show today. The airline has agreed to buy 10 Bombardier CS300 aircraft with an option on a further 10 aircraft. The airline also obtained purchase rights for another 10 in the future if required.
A letter of intent was officially signed after several months of negotiations, but the announcement did not disclose financial details. Korean Air currently operates a fleet of 136 passenger and cargo jet aircraft to 112 cities in 39 countries.
Korean Air is the first CSeries customer in Asia.
