Two additional Embraer 190 aircraft will be added to the fleet of African airline Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) increasing the number of Embraer aircraft used by the airline to four.
The first Embraer 190 is due to arrive in October of 2012 and the other aircraft will be delivered by the end of 2013.
The airline also indicated it would lease a Boeing 737-500 aircraft from a South African airline, which would replace the airline’s last Boeing 737-200.
