British Airways has converted an option it holds and will order an additional Embraer 190 aircraft. This order will increase the number of Embraer aircraft the airline has on order to 14, comprising six Embraer 170s and eight Embraer 190s. The aircraft will be operated by London City based regional subsidiary BA CityFlyer, and delivery of this aircraft is expected in the third quarter of 2012. The aircraft will be configured in a 98-seat, single-class layout.
