Belavia has taken delivery of the airline’s first Embraer 175 on September 14th, 2012. The aircraft is MSN 17000350 registration EW-340PO.
Belavia is leasing the aircraft from Air Lease Corporation and will operate the type on European routes from Minsk National Airport. The second Embraer 175 is scheduled for delivery later this year. The aircraft is configured with 12 business class and 64 economy class seats.
Belavia currently plans to operate the type on routes from Minsk and Moscow Domodedovo, Saint Petersburg, Baku, Paris, Yerevan and Milan.
Belavia is the third operator of the Embraer 175 in Central Europe with LOT and Estonian Air the others. There are more than 340 Embraer 170s and Embraer 175s flying with airlines around the world.
Embraer has orders for more than 1,050 E-Jets. Nearly 900 E-Jets have been delivered to some 60 airlines in 40 countries.
