Aircraft History
C-FMKV, 7007, was the seventh Canadair Regional Jet built and began its service life with Lufthansa Cityline. 7007 was delivered as D-ACLH and was configured as a RJ100ER aircraft, then was converted to the RJ100LR configuration soon after. Like other members of the CityLine CRJ fleet, 7007 underwent an update to the RJ200LR configuration as well.
The aircraft flew in various Lufthansa titles as did all of the CityLine CRJ fleet during their service. 7007 was withdrawn from service in 2006 and returned to Bombardier. The aircraft was stored for a time with Bombardier before being leased on to Cimber Air in that airline’s colour scheme in May of 2006. The aircraft was stored after Cimber Air’s bankruptcy proceedings in 2012.
