On June 18th, 2013 Bombardier announced that Horizon Air signed a firm order for three Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners. The order is a conversion of three previously booked options for the aircraft. The airline also reconfirmed its options on another seven Q400 NextGen aircraft.
The new aircraft will increase Horizon Air’s orders for Q400 and Q400 NextGen airliners to 51 aircraft making it the world’s largest operator of the Q400 series.
