On February 11, 2014, Bombardier announced that Falko Regional Aircraft Limited added a CRJ900 aircraft to its portfolio. The aircraft in question was built in 2006, is currently on lease to Mesa Airlines, and is being operated under the US Airways Express banner which is soon to be merged into the American Airlines regional program as US Airways and American Airlines complete their merger plans.
Bombardier has recorded firm orders for 1,812 CRJs including 339 CRJ900 and CRJ900 NextGens. CRJs have transported more than 1.4 billion passengers and have flown more than 38 million flight hours and over 32 million takeoffs and landings.
