Conviasa converts options for seven Embraer 190s

On June 20th, 2013 Embraer announced that Conviasa converted options the airline held for seven Embraer 190s to firm orders. The original contract had been signed in July of 2012. The airline holds options on a further seven aircraft. This order raises the airline’s aircraft on order to thirteen Embraer 190s.

Japan Airlines converts options on four Embraer 170s

On June 20th, 2013 Embraer announced that Japan Airlines had converted four options it held on Embraer 170s to firm orders. The firm order was already included in Embraer’s backlog as an undisclosed customer. In total Japan Airlines now holds fifteen aircraft on firm order. Arik Air signs deal for three CRJ1000 NextGens and four Q400s

On June 19, 2013 Bombardier announced that Arik Air signed a firm contract to purchase three CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft and four Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft. Arik Air currently operates four CRJ900 aircraft and two Q400 NextGen aircraft.

Finnair leases three Embraer 170s to Aeromexico Connect

On June 19th, 2013 Finnair announced that it would lease three Embraer 170s to Aeroméxico Connect. All three of the Embraer 170 aircraft are owned by Finnair.
