Embraer announced on January 24th, 2013 that Republic Airways has agreed to purchase 47 Embraer 175 aircraft. The agreement also includes options for an additional 47 aircraft. Bombardier announced on January 17th, 2013 that Qantas placed a firm order for three Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft.
