Unnamed customer signs LOI for 12 CRJ900 NextGens

Bombardier_logoOn February 11, 2014, Bombardier announced that it had signed a letter of intent with a customer that wished to remain unnamed to purchase up to 12 CRJ900 NextGens.

Bombardier has recorded firm orders for 1,812 CRJs, including 339 CRJ900 and CRJ900 NextGens. CRJs are in service with more than 60 airlines and more than 30 customers operate corporate variants. CRJs operate in over 50 countries on six continents. On average, a CRJ takes off every 10 seconds somewhere in the world.

Unnamed customer orders additional three CS300s

Bombardier CSeries AircraftOn February 9th, 2014, Bombardier Aerospace announced that an existing customer of CSeries aircraft placed a firm order for an additional three CS300 aircraft. The customer indicated that it wished to remain unannounced at this time.

This agreement pushes the firm order book for the CSeries to over 200 aircraft.

Bombardier also indicated that in early February, FTV3, the third CSeries aircraft built, had been handed to Bombardier’s flight test group. The company also announced that there were more than 10 aircraft in various stages of testing and production.

Including this order announced today, Bombardier has orders and commitments for 445 CSeries aircraft which includes firm orders for 201 CSeries aircraft. There are 17 airlines and leasing companies that have announced orders for CSeries aircraft.

Falcon Aviation Services signs agreement for two Q400s

Falcon Aviation Services Q400On February 9th, 2014, Bombardier announced that Falcon Aviation Services signed a firm purchase agreement for two Q400 NextGens.

Including this order from Falcon Aviation Services, Bombardier has recorded firm orders for a total of 486 Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft.

Palma Holding Limited orders 4 Q400s with options on 4 more

Q400 Dash 8 LogoOn February 3rd, 2014,  Bombardier announced that Palma Holding Limited signed a firm agreement for four Q400 NextGen aircraft. The agreement includes options for an additional four Q400 NextGens. This agreement followed a letter of intent that Bombardier announced on November 18, 2013. Palma intends to lease four of the Q400 NextGens to Ethiopian Airlines.

Ethiopian Airlines currently operates 13 Q400 NextGen aircraft. There are in the Middle East and Africa currently more than 200 Dash 8/Q-series aircraft, CRJ regional jets and CSeries aircraft in service or on firm order.

Including Palma’s order announced today, Bombardier has booked 484 firm orders for Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft.
